I have a generic stick of 512mb PC133 cas 3 ram and a stick of Mosel Vitel 128mb PC133 Cas 2. I have them both in my machine now. I have it set to Cas 2 and it boots. I also have another stick of the mosel. Should I just use the mosel, or just use the generic or combine the both. I have a Tbird 1.2, EPOX 8KTA3, 64mb Geforce GTS and a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card..I'm running WinME.
I have not overclock the Tbird....YET!!!

Thanks

If you have already tried them and they work I don't see any reason why not used them. Generic or Brand name the only difference is if they can perform up to par with each other or with the requirement of the CPU/System. Technically though, the lower CAS rated stick will always take precedence. That means if the combo of the two sticks does not work in CAS2, then they should work under CAS3.
