I bought a PS2 2 days ago... It rules. Right now all ive got is 1 controller, Gran turismo3 and a logitech driving force(this thing 0wnz).
Im wondering what games I should look into renting/buying.
if you are into music games, Frequency is awesome. i've seen it for like $30 at target. if you want a game good for multiplayer, WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It is also good. the others mentioned such as GTA3, MGS2, tony hawk 3 are awesome and definitely must buys. have fun!

Did you get the Future Shop deal on that Driving Force wheel? I picked one up there, and it just makes racing games AMAZING. My roommates and I are beating GT3 all over again...
it sucks compared to GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3GTA3
I saw a game on the Daily Show the other night called "State of Emergency"....they showed a scene where you were in a mall with a machine gun blowing people away. Definitely something to look at.
Other than that......GTA3, of course. And I'd say Dave Mira Freestyle BMX 2, Tony Hawk 3, FFX...
Hot Shots Golf 3 comes out next week if you're into golf games. It may appear childish, but it's heads and tails above Tiger. Easy to get into, a b!tch to perfect. Quick gameplay.

That skit was really funny...but Lewis Black is always funny.
State Of Emergency is a rental at best. It's a good game, with good graphics, but it gets repetative and old pretty fast.

State of Emergency was designed by the same guys who did GTA3
