What accessories and what brand do you recommend. I'm looking to eithe rget a 1GB or 2 GB memory stick pro duo card...are all of these cards the small cards or the bigger one that i'm used to.

I'm looking to get one of those screen protectors...what brand is best?

i got the logitech perspex case ($20 from J&R in NYC) and its probably one of the best cases ive seen, and super durable.

that and grab a 1Gig or 2Gig memory stick duo......and then get PSP video 9 (freeware download) and then you can put whatever video/movie you like on your PSP if you ever have like a long road trip or something

oooo get some screen protectors too.....that screen is way to nice even to get dust on! lol

I would go here and get a screen protector, 2 in 1 charging cable, and a car charger.
I would also get logitch case and maybe a 1 gb or 2 gb pro duo stick.
I'm still waiting on the GPS unit that they promised at launch.

Logitech PlayGear Pocket
Sony 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo High Speed

Thanks for the reply about the 2-in-1. I'll google the firmware, fastloader, etc. I heard that the earlier firmware is better because you can install anything you want, but the newer 1.5 is locked?

from what i read in game pro you can install an emulator to play SNES games. But it only works with lower firmware, i thought 1.5 was the lower one...but i think i'm wrong/

Why, let you to play ripped UMD iso images of course 🙂

1.0 and 1.5 IS the lower f/w that allow homebrew and emulators. If you have 1.51, 1.52, or 2.0, you can downgrade to 1.5. Anything about 2.0 and you're out of luck.

And:

Logitech Playgear Pocket Case
2gb Sandisk Pro Duo (The Sony's are MUCH slower)
A really good cleaning cloth (your fingers grease it up pretty well after playing a while)

The best accessory would be a trash can. It would make a good case for it.

No, jk. Get some emulators, thats all you need.

All PSP's come with the UMD sampler disk, so you will have at least one.

there is a way to downgrade 2.0 > 1.5.

can you use that to convert videos for ipod too? I hear psp/ipod uses same format

get a 2gb card.. or the multicard reader which supports 4gb.. it looks better and has better functionality. theres a few good sites to check out.. just go through lik-sang and see what you like. I plan on getting silver faceplate + buttons depending on christmas cash leftovers.
