I got the itch to do dome oldschool assembly and combining it with something useful.

Computerized telemetry system for the RC buggy. I plan on having a small board with CPU + RAM + EEPROM + transmitter in the car and make a small hand held unit to read and display the data in real time.

I plan to read engine temp and engine rpm to start with. I think I got it figured out hardware wise but need a simple but yet somewhat robust protocol for the wireless part.
