Yes, i know, not pertinent to anyone else in the world, but i just had to rejoice and say that my girlfriend just bought me my delayed Christmas present...

a Canon S40, 4 megapixel camera!! WOOT WOOT!!! i am soo happy! yay!

Now you need batteries!! :D

Seriously, you can never have too many NiMH AAs for a digital camera. They eat them like candy (unless you're lucky enough to have one of those megapack Li ion batteries like Sony has).

The S40 uses Lithium Ion bateries.

Cool! I got a new camera this week, too! But, mine was a FujiFilm FinePix 2400 :)

I have the Canon S30 (The 3mega pixel version of the S40). It takes incredible pictures. I love this camera.

nice nice choice. The only downside to the s30/40 for me is that i wanted at least a 2.0 lens.. these are only 2.8 :( AA too just cause an extra battery for canon is expensive. But yeah, post some pics up.. i wanna see what it can do :p

Well, good then -- that's the only part of my Kodak that I don't like. Well, that and not having the 10x zoom that Sony likes to use. :)
