I just bought an auto lock. I heard theieves could bypass it, but its a good deterrant. What do you guys think? I know if they want your car, theyll take it. Whats your thoughts?

If this is the foot brake lock you are talking about, yeah I have heard people still getting around those.

Lo jack if you want to allow ppl to track you or if you don't care that you can be tracked. Its your choice if you want to give up some liberty for safety.

Personally I would booby-trap my vehicle so that it would be impossible to steal it without incurring some serious bodily harm.

Although I don't recommend that unless you know what your doing.

I don't think Lo Jack can be used against you. It's only activated if your car is reported stolen. It's an interesting proposition though. Let's say you've been accused of a murder and can't be found. They know you have a lojack (somehow?) Would Lo Jack turn it on for the cops so they could find you?

My Lightning came w/ a Lo Jack.

yeah, they can but usually they wont bother since they can just cut the steering wheel and take the club off the car parked next to you
