I got a Laxar Jump Drive 512 MB for my B-day is there anything I could do with it thats cool ?

like putting the Swap file on it?

or is it pretty much only useful to hold files?

you can't put swap files on removable disks, afiak, but you could try. however, it'd be pretty slow

Grak, waste of money.. IMO, largest USB key I would carry is 256. Anything larger and it goes in External HD or CD-RW.

You can use it to put linux on your x-box without modding. I wish I could remember how....

I found a few applications that would run from it that sound cool, E-mail Firefox and a calender.

Yep, I put Portable Firefox on my USB drive, always nice to have my bookmarks, extenstions, etc. there wherever I may roam.

ugh theres a way to load up your own stripped os/apps or something on any computer using one. i think using windows ce.
