I had a FedEx Ground/Home Delivery scheduled to be delivered. At the end of the day, no delivery attempt was made. I checked the tracking information and it said "Incorrect Address" and another attempt was scheduled two days later. I was sure the shipper had my correct address so probably the person who FedEx contracted to do the delivery couldn't find it. It's not a difficult place to find, but they were probably not used to the area.
The next day I gave them a call and verified the address was correct. I gave some very explicit directions too in case they had trouble finding it again. A few hours later, I got a call from FedEx confirming all the info I had previous given them and that they would make another attempt tomorrow. I got my package just fine the next morning. A day later, I get a call from FedEx asking if I got my package okay and apologizing for the delay. Wow, I didn't expect that.
