i hate these brag type threads. i means its on thing to say "i got a 9800 pro, any suggestions of drivers, etc..." but when u put it that way it seems like all you're trying to do is showoff, and if u need to show off computer hardware you need clinical help

and if u need to show off computer hardware you need clinical help

Interesting thought from a person who lists their hardware in their signature, thereby telling people what hardware you have everytime you post.

actually i thought, some of you guys might like to know. I was bidding on 9800's and Pro's on Ebay and a guy emailed me and said he had one that he would sell me for $240. Its OEM/Slighty used , I just got lucky , and another thing if you look at the right time on ebay like yesterday guys had these pro's on buy it now for $280. Retail ..

So i've been looking for the right card at the right price for like a month and a half, and now it finally came to me. I would be happy for you if you guys, got a great deal on something like that and i would do the same thing and ask you where you guys got it at.

I was not bragging by any means, i was happy and i thought i would share my experience with you guys.

Good luck finding your products beacuse my search was tough.

actually, its just easier that way. when i post a problem i'm having i can simply type "rig in sig" to save time. ever thought of that?

I got a built-by-ATI 9800 Pro, brand new in the wrap, delivered to my house by some local guy for $285. He waited for me to install it and verify that it was working, I handed him the cash, and that was that.

This was about 3 weeks ago.

Hope he didn't sell you a soft-modded 9800 NP....

It'd be nice if those of you with your rig in your sig would be considerate and limit yourselves to 3-5 lines of that useless info. Why not put your PC specs on one line, separate by |'s? It's annoying to have to scroll twice as much b/c of all these bloated sigs. Most of the info in a sig belongs in a separate profile page, as I don't need to read your system speed or your favorite mod quote every single time you post (which is hundreds to thousands of times for most of you).

And congratz to the cardbuyer, if your card is a genuine one, then cool. :)

Did you get the card yet? The most common ebay scam is to email a bidder and offer them a really good deal.

didn't read whole thread cuz i didn't feel like it.

But braggers should have thier own topic on the home page, they certainly are enough to fill up one quickly enough.
