Go to a shooting range and buy a rental gun and $100 of ammo. Blow it all away in one day and come come happy.

Or buy $100 of ammo for someone's machine gun and blow it away in an hour!

MY allowance was (age/2)+1 = $ per week.
$100 was a shit ton of cash before I started working. Also, your 16, why don't you get a job?

If you actually want to consider donating it (on the poor kids in Africa theme), you might want to check this out as something kind of along those lines.

excellent suggestion but are the people genuine?

If you're worried about that you can always go with a well established charity, the red cross is by far one of the best. The salvation army helps world wide and helps get people off the streets and into real jobs.

There are tons of options, from those big ones I mentioned to local shelters in your area. I give a decent amount each year, I don't really notice the difference because I'd just spend it on junk anyways.

Save it. Save your next one too. Go read a bunch of books on Trading and Technical Analysis of the financial markets. Save it until you've got a grand put away. Then blow it all on commissions. Then read Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas. Save up again, and blow it again. Get a job. By the time you get real money flowing in, you should be able to handle trading. Then you can ask yourself what to do with $100k instead of $100.

Or better yet, read The Game by Neil Strauss and go get a girlfriend.

You beat me to it...

Sign up for gamefly. Depending if you get 1-2 games out at a time, the $100 can last you quite a few months of service

Yeah, use that and other money earned to put towards a car. Car is 100x better than those other things. Being that age without a car kind of stinks. It opens up so much more that you can do. Well unless you live right in the city it might not be necessary.

Don't get a car. Having a car will just give you more expenses, and it won't be so fun, then.

Still easily worth it IMO. It sounds like his parents help him out, so assuming they would pay his insurance, a part time minimum wage job is easily enough to cover gas and maintenance expenses.

booze, titties, drugs...

the real question is why the hell do you get so much allowance and why do you want to spend it so soon and potentially on nothing?
