Ive noticed lately ill just randomly start acting all hyper and crap for no apparent reason... Then about 20-30 minutes later i get so tired i could fall asleep. Happens almost every day sometimes a couple times a day. Should i go to a doctor or something about this, it dosent seem normal?

happens to me too lately... during the last three periods of school, I will get hyper, and then as soon as the bell rings I'll get real tired and lethargic. I think the reason for this is I was working hard on the cross country ski team and was getting burned out...

I would bet that it means you are physically exhausted.

The hyperness is just your body trying to compensate for being exhausted, kind of like a last big hurrah. You are probably also getting a bit loopy during this period of hyperness, meaning you have lost some of your cognitive skills from being so tired.

Your body is trying to tell you something...........listen to it.

time for rehab bud!

but seriously, if you are overly active all day long... you'll be wide awake until you go to sit down for a few minutes... then your body believes its getting ready to sleep... and you'll feel tired relativly quickly. Its pretty common.

<< what is crank? >>

It's an Amphetamine

Amphetamines and methamphetamines are stimulants commonly used by young people at parties and raves to enhance energy levels for clubbing and dancing. Stimulant medications can help people with Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD) feel calmer, but they have the opposite effect on people who do not have that disorder. Street names for amphetamines include speed, bennies, glass, crystal, crank, and pep pills.
