Time was when mods could ban someone just for being intolerable, I'm pretty sure that time has long since passed. As long as he doesn't make direct personal attacks or mention savages we will probably be stuck with him for some time.

i bet the mods are trying to enable shadow bans during the maintenance downtimes.

there was a time during my early years that my older brother was my dungeon master. Do you guys remember the expert module that was an island fulll of venemous monsters...all i can remember was playing expert mode.

Given that the time you're referring to also forced regulars to tolerate ego-tripping power maniacs doing stupid things on whatever whim of choice the circle-jerk of internet bullies wanted, I think this is a much better situation over-all.

Are we really so petty and incompetent that the only way we can govern fairly is to not govern at all? That's what the status quo is now, in effect. The only times official action is taken is when a clearly defined rule is explicitly broken, and when enough automatic points accrue that they trigger automatic actions. I don't want to see French Revolution level BS from our mods, but did we really have to take all of their teeth?
