I get a repeating "system has recovered from serious error" message. need your help

Every time i reboot my XP Pro i get one of those "The system has recovered from a serious error" messages. I tried using system restore back to a couple of points last week and that didn't help. What options do I have? The message doesn't tell me much I don't really know what's going on. This is driving me crazy.
 
I'll try it now. It's been a crappy downward spiral. I just got back into windows after an hour of trying. It locked up when shutting down, and got way out of wack.
