I get a beep error code on bootup....

"Beeeeeeep beep beep", the monitor doesnt come on, and it doesnt boot up. If i hit reset it boots fine. Any ideas? A friend says my graphics card isnt powering on in time so it isnt being detected, do you think this is the case?

That code is usually a graphic card problem. Ensure that it is sitting correctly in its slot...push down on it firmly.
