You have to be prepared for things like this. Just put an empty bowl outside the door with a little sign that says, "Take one."

/cut thread here, excellent idea

honestly, kids have no manners these days...we bought some pretty good candy to pass out (full sized sh*t, none of those small packets), and some kids had the audacity to ask for more! fvcking chaldeans around here are going to be the end of the world.

Luckily we live in a relatively small sub, so there weren't many kids...I have a lot of candy left to myself. 😀

I didn't buy any candy coz I just moved to my townhouse a few months ago (used to live in apt) and totally didn't expect kids would knock on my door. well, they did.
so what did you do?

I said, Just a moment. Then rushed all over the place searching for stuff, and finally found half a bag strawberry cookies. So I gave them the cookies. After they left I turned off lights and didn't answer the door for the 2nd round of kids. I mean I coudln't just open the door and say sorry kids no candy, could i? I was just fvcked up.

Sh1t, right after I posted that, my Optimum Online went down for the first time in 2 yrs. They have to come over to check my connection. Until then I am connectionless (at wrok right now). arrgggghhh.

LOL... those cookies most likely went into the trash.

That's like the #1 rule of trick or treating, don't take "homemade" candies & treats.. unless you know the people.

Some sick old woman put razor blades in candy apples here a number of years ago... caused a big ruckus.

No, it's not homemade, it's small cookies individually packaged.

At least you didn't give them apples or anything else that could have been a projectile back at your house.

I would hope is car has a locking gas cap, otherwise he may find the cookies jammed down in the tank.
