OK, so I got my pictures from my trip. The one day we had a working camera with film? All the pictures look like my eyes were swelled shut & I'm on drugs. Damn, damn, damn. I knew I was having a hard week with allergens, 'cause I spent most of the time doped up on Dimetapp, but still... Better pictures would have been nice.

hehe yeah it blows....you also get totally bombed from sneezing constantly and look like an alcoholic 🙁
 
Allergies are so common that if we had a government that was concerned with people, we'd get the resources to find a real cure.
 
you're not kidding.....damn, something like 50% of your friends all have some kind of allergy...it's amazing!
 
Actually, the number of people suffering from allergies as well as those suffering from astmha has risen dramatically over the past 20 years. It's not hard to imagine why that would be, with all the friggin' pesticides, pollutants, and all sorts of other crap in the air and all around us.

There is no 'cure' for this, and I doubt there ever will be. Remember, allergies are simply the body reacting to outside chemicals it deems harmful - it's trying to protect itself from these harmful chemicals. We can suppress this defense mechanism with certain drugs (Claritin, Zyrtec etc), but the bottom line is, as long is all sorts of chemical crap all around us, our body's are gonna react.
 
Actually, tagej, a cure is already being tested. It will be around 10,000 a year and be for kids with asthma at first, but the methodology will lead to other solutions for other histamine related problems. Never say never.
