I found this folder in my temp directory called mosgthrsvc...

Need some info...anybody have any idea what this is, and what it does?

The name of the folder is mosgthrsvc & it is located in C:\Windows\Temp directory. Inside are two files named (1) NtfE326.TMP & (2) NtfE327.TMP. Both files' size are 67 bytes. I use Notepad to open either file & this is what shows:

? Microsoft Search Gatherer Transaction Log Format Version 4.9

Oh yeah, I did run McAfee on the temp folder & entire system...clean.😕
 
Sounds like an indexing service. Do you have Office installed, or the "Find Fast" program running from your startup group?
