i'm not a veteran from vietnam, but from what i understand, it was pretty d@mn hard to differentiate between civilians and hostile fighters. thinking back... we (as in the USA) didn't gain anything from vietnam, did we? what were we fighting for? was it just another chapter in the cold war?
