That's my bet. One of my friends was trying to collect non-lubricated condoms for some guys he knew that were stationed in Iraq. They were putting them over the ends of their gun barrels to keep dust out. They just left them on all the time and if they needed to fire they just shoot right through it. It kept the guns clean but didn't restrict using them when they needed.

I don't know if anybody gave them glow in the dark neon ones though.

We have our Leopard II's over in Afghanistan but fighting Taliban and fighting another armies armor are very different. They seem to acquite themselves quite nicely though.
