Ads in the videos are put there by the people that post as far as I know. After so many views you get the option to add an ad to the video and share in the ad revenue.

Isn't there some sort of age requirement here?

And even if there isn't, he chooses to post in the manner that he does. Tristicus is just responding in a manner he deems fitting.

When I played EQ as a kid, I made sure to present myself with the highest levels of maturity and social acceptability as possible.

Funnily, I stopped caring about those things as I grew up...
