I actually like the Element, especially in the higher end trims. It's a functional little critter for active lifestlyes.
It is surprisingly useful. The back side door doesn't even swing out the normal way; it swings the other way so it looks like french doors. The lack of a middle pillar makes it easier to fit big things (fat people) into it.

The other thing about the Element is that it's similar to owning a poodle. Owning this vehicle doesn't impress anyone, so you clearly bought it because you like it. Owning an ugly ass car that is expensive as hell is what confidence looks like.

Well, at least you didn't get stuck in the Smart 4two.

I was taking my sister to the optometrist. There was a smart 4 two parked out side and when she walked by it she just started laughing. That's pretty funny/pathetic if a 19 year old girl bursts out laughing at your car design.

I refuse to aknowledge that the Smart is actually a passenger vehicle. To me it's an overpriced golf cart.

At that point you're fucked.

If you think that's effeminate, keep in mind the New Beetle (first gen) has a vase for flowers in the dash board, and daisy covers for the tail lights. :p

Nissan Cube looks pretty goofy but I wouldn't say feminine. Miata is far and away the biggest girly car ever known to man.

The Nissan Cube is one of those vehicles I will never understand. People bitch about the Aztek. The Cube trumps the Aztek easily.

Cube is terrible. A salesman told me, though, that he sells to a lot of older clients because they can get in it easily. So I opened it up and I agree it's actually fairly high up and easy to get into, similar to a minivan in that sense even though it's small.

It's probably the ugliest vehicle on the road right now, though, even uglier than the Smart (though much, much better; the Smart is a piece of sh*t).

I don't get the Miata girlie image. It's rwd, usually a 5spd, and handles like it's on rails. I don't care how it looks if I've got a shit eating grin on my face driving it.

The Cube is none of those. It feels like it'll topple over if you turn to fast. Between the overstuffed seats and the suspension you feel like you are sitting on a water bed matresses that just bounces up and down. And the steering and transmission both feel like they are connected to rubber bands. There is not a hint of enthusiasm driving this thing. All it does is further embrace the jelly bean exterior.

Well, it is pretty cute and has soft body lines, but no one who's really driven one thinks that it's a "girls car" as far as I know.

Never driven the Cube but as others I am a fan of the Element, especially the SC.
I think they're decent for sure.

The only person I know in real life who owns one is a female cousin. Ergo, girl's car.

I'm the opposite. Everyone I know has them as track or weekend curve carvers. Several have them fitted with rollcages and/or heavily tuned.

The cube and others like it are hilariously hideous. The Smart is definitely a huge steaming pile of crap though, having had the 'opportunity' to drive one myself.

I actaully like the design of the Smart Sport car. Saw a few in Europe and thought they werent all that bad... I wonder why they havent brought them to North America yet.

The Cube looks like a large purse, all it needs a a shoulder strap :)

Theres a hot chic where I work that drives one, I laugh everytime I walk by it in the parking lot, looks like a clown car.
