I found a baby robin on the sidewalk

I found this guy on the sidewalk when I was mowing the front lawn. I thought he was dead but when I went to look at him he did that hungry baby bird thing where they open their mouth really wide.

We made him a new nest out of a basket and fed him a bunch of worms. To our suprise the mamma bird came back and was feeding him, even though we touched him and moved him to a new nest.

Sadly He died this morning though. He was not in very good shape at all from the start

Turn on macro and turn off red eye reduction. IT will help.

I had three baby owls sitting outside my window the other evening. no idea WTF they were doing, but there they were. mind you I live in a metropolitan area. i never seen owls around my house before. they were gone by morning, they either flew off or cats got them. they could fly
