I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and have set up a new administrative password for my laptop. I am trying to remove my old internet security software via safe mode , but am not able to pass the 'Enter your password' part. It keeps saying that my password is incorrect? Please help

The OP set a new password, and they can't "remember" it...
Also, why go into safe mode to uninstall something, when it can easily be done within windows itself?
So, yes.

Wrong forum and seems to be an obvious attempt to get into a stolen laptop.

Resetting a laptop's BIOS PW is deliberately guarded by OEMs due to the prevalence of thievery. In order to do that, most makers require that the owner contact them, and after bona fides are established, they will reset the BIOS PW. Suspicions are not subject to infractions, but solutions that bypass intended OEM security may be. Have a care.
