There's a difference between a "light" and "lite" beer. I think that might be the confusion here. I was referring more to "lite" beers but I used the OPs terminology.

No, I meant low cal beer

although, it's actually spelled "light" here on my "lite" BOC:

Yuck, I'm no beer snob but I can't stand Heine Light. What little flavor it has I find to be bad. Kind of like a watered down Heineken. I've only had it out of a mini keg but was not pleased. I do like regular Heineken though.

Heiney Light isn't bad. I've always been a fan of fresh Heineken, but it skunks so fuckin fast that you almost NEVER find it outside of taps. It tastes completely different in Holland, too. Much better.

The Heine Light is actually a Light beer, not Lite.

To those that haven't tasted it, go drink one. And yes, dark beer is good with dinner. Killian's Red and some steaks, yum.
