I promised myself I would not do this but one of my coworkers came in this afternoon and said there was a tiny kitten back by the loading docks. Weve seen others before over the years for some reason the lifts for the docks are a popular spot for cats to have kittens. So I went out to check it out and there was freaking adorable tiny little minuscule kitten wedged behind a couple blades of grass trying to gets some shade from the blazing sun. It was panting and looked real lethargic. So I had to rescue, I didn't even have time to take a picture of this tiny guy (turns out to be a girl) it was so heartbreaking. All I could think was to get this guy cool, some water and food. So we found a box and put him in my truck and I headed home. Jeez oh why, I guess I can take it to a rescue center if I can't keep her and I never even really wanted the first cat, ok I did but two?

So far my home boy cat Buddy is very cool with her, it might be nice for him to have some companionship but it's just more work for me and I'm a lazy fuck. I'm introducing her to Buddy slowly but I don't know otherwise (TV animal shows lol.) I'll keep her a least for a few days makes sure she has plenty to eat and water and then decide. Just couldn't leave the little dude out there all by himself. Any tips about food, litter box training and stuff? Buddy is about 8 years.

Nice kitten. BTW, cats adopt their families

Where I live, some asshole moved out of his condo a few months back and left his cat behind. 😡
Cat's name is Harley and she's now adopted me. 😱

Congrats! I'd keep her. She's cute, and cats are easy. All the cats I've had(3 total) have been unexpected rescues, and they've all been fantastic friends. There's a bunch of ways, both logical and mystical to justify keeping her, but fact is you got a new kitty, and that's a cool thing to have. Might as well go with it :^)

That's awesome, nice of you to take the kitten! I only have one cat but sometimes think it would be fun to get another so they keep each other company. My cat is old and probably prefers being alone now days though. What I need is a dog, to clean up the puke and sometimes even the litter. 😛

Respect to you, you're a good man.

Its hard to turn your back on a cute cat, especially a kitten. I've had mine since kittenhood and its been loads of fun ever since.

Hopefully your visitor gets to stick around for a while. 🙂

Keep the kitten away from your own cat till you can get her vetted & tested. Petco runs clinics on the weekend that are dirt cheap. They will test for FIV, feLUK, they will worm her, give her shots, trim her nail & give her a physical for under $100.

Btw, she is pretty, is her fur brown? Her coat is a lovely color 🙂 And you did a good thing! I thought I rescued a cat & it turns out he rescued me instead he is so loving.

Thanks for the tip on the Petco have one very close by do they do it for older cats as well? Kind of weird hours here 5:00pm to 6:30PM

Its grayish brown funny thing is I took her to work with the intention for dropper her off at the shelter after work yesterday but she spent the day at work on my stomach sleeping and while driving past the shelter I kept on going, she was that close. Now shes running the around the house like a little tank. Even used the mini kitty litter box I made for her in the picture, how do they know to do that? Amazing.

I just knew you would keep her 🙂 Remember, they choose their humans for a reason that usually benefits the human!
