This is a neat little indie puzzle game on STEAM.

Your "character" is a drop of water and you have to successfully navigate the drop of water through several different obstacle courses without drying out.

Fruit and vegetable rejuvenate your waterdrop while paper, cloth, sugar cubes, flower, cakes, crackers, etc absorb your waterdrop.

Lots of physics type puzzles and effects to the game make it really interesting and difficult.

It's a pretty fun and unique little game. only $9.99 on STEAM.
 
I seem to remember playing some variation of this where you had to keep a certain amount of a mercury puddle.
