Very nice...it's a little huge for my tastes, but you did a great job with the table. Now you just need some proper home theater speakers.

*wink wink * *nudge nudge*

\/\/\/ 😛

you wanna pay for them and the reciever?

Looks good, although personally I would have enjoyed al ittle more symetry in the front. But still an awesome job nonetheless

Sweet! I like how you did the Gamecube.

It took forever to figure out how to do that. I even screwed up. I cut the front on the table a half inch too low so I had to cut a piece to match the hole (you have to look very close to see it.

At the moment, I'm installing a fan and putting a shelf in to cover up the wire mess. After that, I'll put a bucket in the shelf, that I can throw my controllers in.

UPDATE!: Within 24 hours of being complete, I've already added more crap...

Ok so I did a few things to show progress. I made a shelf in the back side of the table to cover up the massive cable hell that lies beneath it. I plan on making the gamecube shelf flush by using pecies of scrap to fill in those holes, I will paint those black.
I painted the interior of the case black (above shelf level) and painted the shelves the gamecube and system selector sit on. I feel it gives them quite the nice touch. I also feel the shelf (which I bought at home depot and happend to be the EXACT width I needed (11.8" weird, eh?)) I feel if I painted that black it would look a little funny. I plan on cutting out a hole in the "wood" shelf and putting in a bucket of some sort to hold the controllers from my video game systems. I have enough room so that when the next consoles do come out that I can simply add more shelving for them. I bought hinges to put on the top of the table so it just lift right up but have not added them yet. I also have a 120mm fan I plan on mounting in the back bottom left of the unit to expel hot air from the HTPC, for all those concerned with cooling.

UPDATE PICS!:
Table with nothing on it
Table with new shelf
Table with new shelf angle 2
Table with new shelf angle 3

lots of work.. looks great.. my dad makes tables like that... but me.. ill prob cut my hand off the table saw..

yeah I suggest venting also.. but it also makes noise.. unless you got room for an ac duct 🙂

What would be really tight (but not really practical given your proximity to your wall) is to have the projector built into the front of the table.

I really like the concept for this.

I also now hate you because this will now consume much of my time and money designing and building my own.

Props to you Dremel Man!

How do you deal w/ heat build up?

I'm putting in a fan VERY soon. It is a pentium 4 after all.

Are you drilling the side panel to add a fan? You should put one in on both side with a grill and add LEDs. FTW

Can't use LEDs because it makes the room blue effecting image quality of the projected image. I am going to put a fan into it without a doubt.
