I find this somewhat disturbing

Greetings, earthlings...I come in piece. I also don't figure shrub to be as stupid as portrayed by the non-partisan media of our former republic. Where did the rumor of his stupidity come from? My take on him is just following in the family business. Like Grand-pa an Pa. One world, with money from all. He just finished his pop's business in Iraq when Saddam was captured. He does get my vote for Anti-Christ.

"He does get my vote for Anti-Christ." Hardly necessary to vote, he's earning the title all by himself.

If I was the anti christ, er debbil, plotting to take over the world.
I would take over the politics of the most powerfull country on earth by cheating or buying the election. (200+ million should do it.)
Then use the army in a global war picking on little countries with money first,
while removing the rights to privacy of people in my own country using the "it's for our own good" lie.
Then I'ld use massive computer data to control the population.
Stamp out the freedom of information act. (Black out every thing of value at first, then abolish it.)
I would play up to people who were stupid enough to believe me, & that would require a lot of faith.
Then I would squash them all like little bugs when I'm king, along with a bunch of other stuff inbetween.
Much like Bush is doing now.

You're all blind. mock all you like, you won't be laughing when this world goes to hell (literally) very shortly.

Damn, I just knew it! I knew that if someone posted a numerology/anti-christ/armageddon thread that Flydermax2k3 would be drawn in like a moth to the flames! Sometimes FlyerMax, I think you're almost praying for the end of the world to happen sooner. I'm sure in your mind, that only means you'll meet your maker that much sooner...

funny though that a bible beater should defend the argument even though it is all based on numerology, an occult practice that is specifically forbidden by God according to the bible. so do you believe in the bible or not Flyermax2k3? or just believe in the parts that suit your apocalypse fetish? :D

Have you read the apocalyptic books of the Bible? Followers of Christ *are* supposed to look forward to his return. That means looking forward to the Apocalypse and Judgement Day. Jesus even said not to be afraid of these events for they must come to pass for him to return. In fact, he even said to look forward to them for they signal his return.

You're thinking of numerology in the occult sense of magical powers and future divination. Numerology in the traditional sense as used by the Hebrews has nothing to do with telling the future. Why do you think John of Patmos put the line in Revelation about "the number of his name" (referring to the Antichrist) if not so that Christians would be able to deduce the identity of the Antichrist by means of numbers? If you can't understand that very basic principle of the book of Revelation then this conversation is over.

So is the 2300 days a coincidence, or do you think it points to Bush as the anti-Christ?

this prediction of armageddon is based on on esoteric concepts of translating our lettering system to numbers, that is a classic example of future divination. while it is true that the Hebrew characters represent numbers as well as letters, this has nothing to do with the arguments presented in the link.

It's a good thing that people are looking out for worst case senerio.
That kind of thinking has saved many a man in the past.
Lets say that Bush is not the antichrist, but that kind of thinking will start others questioning our government,
it's policies, & it's leaders. All of which is required to remain free.

I once heard: "the difference between a crazy person and a normal person is, the crazy person acts on the unproven & a sane person doesn't"
Although all religious people aren't actually crazy, religion appears to be.
I don't hold much weight to the number system, but if I did, I would think before acting since it's unproven.
Your choice is to believe or not.
I always hold the premice that the unproven might very well be true, it's just unproven to me at this time.

I believe the current evidence shows that Bush is making all the moves that a person trying to rule the world would do.
I can't see how he is going to get past the 8 year maximum term limit as president though.
He has enough money now to buy the election for "4 MORE YEARS" of Bush as president.
During that time he would have to set himself up as leader of another organization to continue power.
That organization could very well have something to do with owning the president after Bush,
and the infiltration of government organizations such as CIA. (Bush Sr was in the CIA wasn't he ?)
And probably would have to have the support of big business.
