I never got into watching "The Office" on the tube but over the last week I've watched Seasons 1 & 2 via Netflix and I finally understand what all the fuss is about. It's refreshingly funny with its dry humor and the storyline just keeps getting better and better as the characters are given more depth. Season 1 was interesting but Season 2 has had me laughing my ass off. Jim is an absolute riot, Stanley is funny as hell, and I've taking a liking to Toby more and more. I've started season 3 and it's just as good as the second.

If I had to work in a place like that, with a boss like Michael, I'd kill him in a heartbeat. Thank god my boss is a good guy and I don't work in a cube farm.

Officially, I did not see her.

But I did see Jan there.

In our room. At Night.

And in the morning.

That's all I'm going to say.

Sex.

We had sex.

I had sex with her.

I had sex with Jan.

edit: and don't listen to the haters, people have been saying it sucked since season 1. Now all of a sudden only seasons 1-4 are the great ones.

It has had a few slow episodes lately, as all successful series' do.
You can't trump every last episode. If you think seasons 5,6,7 suck, tune down your expectations a little.

It is a great series, even the most recent seasons.

Never liked the show. Don't know why, but I just never found it that funny.

ignore the haters. i like the show and like every season. every show has its ups and downs, but i find the show to always provide at least some laughs. some episodes are painful to watch but the funny ones make up for them.

If I can put up with the bullshit of Lost & Heroes, I don't think I'll have a problem with a few bad episodes of The Office.

The first couple of episodes of the most recent season were good IMO. Much less cringe humor from Steve. Guess they finally caught on it wasn't funny.

watched a few episodes here and there but never really liked it too much. Ex-GF loved the show but I couldn't get into it at all.

You're right OP, Jim is a great character. Until he gets married to Pam then he becomes the most boring character on the show. Spoiler alert BTW.

Knew about the marriage, didn't know about the boring. You sir, are a turd sandwich.

I only made it through half of the first episode, and never gave the show another chance.

I actually enjoyed the latest episode. It made me feel sympathy for Michael. I'm excited to see where counseling will take his character.

No doubt it eventually leads to him being fired (since this is steve's last season).

After that, I just can't see the show being as funny (Though, I still get a kick out of dwight and jim).

I think they should make Andy the new boss.
