I wanted to see it since the day it came out but I never got the chance. The acting was good, but I didn't really like the story.

BTW, how many people were killed in the movie total? This is what I remember:

-2 guys in the factory
-the crack head and his body guard in the club
-wife and son
-bank guy in hotel
-police officer in diner
-Paul Newman and those 6 guys around him
-Paul Newman's son
-Tom Hanks
-guy who takes pictures of dead people

=18

There was also this other guy, whose killer was arrested at the scene, but that wasn't related to the movie.

Too much killing in the movie.

Think the cop in the diner came before the bank guy in the hotel but everthing else seems correct.

EDIT -

Should be 3 in the factory, 2 hench men and the one guy who was shot in the head.

EDIT #2 - I forgot about the first guy in the hotel, I was thinking of him as a messenger. The bank guy I was thinking off is the one who is killed accidentally.

Thanks for the correction.....I wasn't sure if it was 2 or 3.

19 deaths so far.

😉

BTW, I never meant to put them in order.

The one thing that ruins the whole movie for me was, during the opening monologue (when the kid was talking), it basically tells you Tom Hanks will die... And you just know Jude Law will be the one who kills him....

So I ended up waiting for it to happen the whole movie...

true and it wasn't much of an idea for a film to begin with. mendes also handled the material like a holy relic
so he ended up more impressed with the proceedings than anybody else.

i wasnt impressed by it.

killing is one thing when its entertaining, as in Braveheart (best movie ever)

this movie was just gory and not entertaining. I was counting down the minutes towards the end of it waiting to get out becuase i had just lost interest in it. The story wasnt entirely all together either.
