I finally made it! New Grad & RN

The past four months was the craziest in my life. I literally locked myself in a room for a couple of weeks from society (except for eating, showering & gym) to ready myself for the state board licensing examination (NCLEX-RN). When I got the last question, I knew I already passed from all the time invested, support from my friends and family.

Can't wait to make a difference 🙂

Congrats!

From one RN to another, have fun and know your limits! Enjoy making a difference!

Also if you need any help or advice, let me know I've been a nurse for 6 years and I've worked multiple hospitals including two very large academic hospitals.

Congrats! And thanks for choosing a career where you will be bettering society and the lives of others. I hope you have a long and rewarding career.

Congrats! After working as an RN for two decades myself (ER and ICU), I'm always glad to see someone else join the ranks.

Congrats! Probably one of the most secure jobs too. There's always a cry for more nurses, whether it's hospital, old age homes, etc.

Damn, I always thought you were a guy.

Goes to show it hard to tell a person from just their text.

why can't a guy be a RN? what is the average for an RN made a yr? 100K?

He's just trolling.

Average 100k? Nah, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility with OT. A few of the ED nurses I worked with a few years ago were doing nights/weekends/OT and were pulling like 75k working 4/5 days a week. Rough lifestyle (nights), but good money.
