So, long story abridged... my luck with cars has been terrible throughout my life! Here is a list of my journey thus far!

1978 Mercury Monarch in banana yellow for $200 when I was 16
1989 Dodge Caravan (too many problems too list)
1993 Eclipse that was perfect until I lost my job and before nearly having it reposessed finally selling it to pay the loan.
1982 Volvo 240DL which was probably the biggest POS ever.
1984 Honda Prelude that was free from my uncle and timing belt slipped and killed the car
1995 Ford Contour that ran fine until the water pump went out, blew the head gasket and overheated like crazy

to TODAY!

I am finally making enough money to afford a real car so THIS is what I bought today. I know its not the best thing in the world, but for my purposes it will be great! Maybe this should be in brag and moan, but I just felt so proud that I finally got a good car I wanted to share it with my AT family!

Let me know what you think!

'cause civics, and hondas in general, run forever...I just got a 2004 Civic EX myself, with 3500 miles for 15,500. They are great cars.

Because we think they last longer and are a better value. I bought into it, I love my Accord.

yes, I did pay $12k...why?

a) because I personally like the efficiency of Honda's Automobiles

b) It was lower than retail blue book, just a tad higher than private party sale.

c) cause my fiance has a 2001 Civic LX in the same color and I love to drive her car!

That's the DX. His LX has over the DX:

-AC w/ air filtration
-CD Player
-Keyless Entry (not sure about his 2002 tho, i'm comparing 2005 LX to 2005 DX)
-Cruise Control
-Power windows, mirrors, locks
-center console
-map lights
-body colored door handles and side molding
