Does your town turn into a meat locker six months out of a year?
Not six months, no, but we get the benefit of living in a sauna in the summer as well.
Maybe you guys do some other tax stuff differently as well, IDK, but a property tax change of more than a few percent would be pretty significant for us.

Property tax also include school tax here.
 
More or less, December to February is -20's and colder. Though December is typically not as cold, but by Christmas it is. Think our taxes include school too. Every now and then I get a form to decide which school board I support. Then there's water/sewer which is a separate tax, that's probably going up too. Already paying $100/mo for that.
