My girlfriend thought he sounded like Brak from Spaceghost Coast to Coast......

I think that's why people follow Hung around. He has this half-wit about him that makes a select few want to hear more. Personally, I wish someone would revoke his greencard.

I agree, doesn't make you smart, but getting into the engineering program at Cal isn't easy, so i think it's fair to say he isn't a moron nor a half-wit.

While booksmart he may be, he needs to work on social skills. I'll give you that.

You know what, the other day, my gf said something that does ring true. The reason why people are paying any attention to him is not only because he can't sing, but they feel sorry for him, not only he sucks, but he's pathetic. Kinda like the kind of attention you'd give to a retarded person. But yeah, no more please, same with that Jessica Lynch (boy, I'm glad that died out).

fair enough. I have no doubt that he has some smarts to him, just needs a reality check that tells him......"YOU CAN'T SING." I feel he's getting all the attention because, as crazy said, he is so pathetic and doesn't have a clue.

I don't feel sorry for him. I agree he can't sing or dance but what he did was pretty entertaining. It's the ENTERTAINMENT factor! He makes people laugh and gasp at how bad he is at the same time.

They announced on American Idol last night that William Hung would be making a guest appearance. Can you even stand the irony? They turn him down, and he rockets to fame faster than they can pick a legitimate winner for the show. And now American Idol wants a piece of him!! :D

He makes people laugh, ie: entertainment value. And I wouldn't really call him a moron considering that now almost everyone know who he is, and he's getting some money out of it as well.

not moron at all, he does look a bit weird but he's happy of doing all these. I mean some people think he'a pathetic but so what? people like this can live far more happier than most people. He has the courage to stand in front of the TV and do all the funny entertaining moves, can you? I don't think so because you care alot how people think and feel about you :)
