I've had it for 2 years and only put on 12000 miles the time I've had it. The car has been awesome to me. Effortless pull and superb handling. I'd love to keep it but the value is depreciating and then I have 2 other cars. The insurance is also killing me slowly so its time to let go.
I'll probably get the new coupe in a coupla years or so. Next stop for me is to have my own home.

Yeah. I've really taken care of this car and have never eaten or had any drinks in it. And so it's flawless in its condition in and out. Its kind of sad to see her go. The people interested in it are really stoked about it so I guess theres a good chance it'll go today or tomorrow.

It's too bad you had to let it go because that car would last to 200k miles, go 0-60 in 3 seconds, and get 50 mpg.

I have an old 1990 240sx hatchback and a 2005 mazda6. I did briefly own a Saturn Ion that I ended up selling to a friend. I'll probably be getting rid of the 240sx really soon and will be looking for another car to replace it.

I've seen a few new coupes on the road here and I thought they were rather cool and mean looking. 330hp doesn't hurt either.

Heh.. You didn't hold onto it long enough for the "honeymoon" period to end!

I'll bet that if you would have held onto that car for 5 years or 90,000 miles, you would have learned to hate the post warranty repair work like I did with my Audi!

There is nothing like being faced with a few thousand dollars worth of repair bills to quickly change your feelings about a car!

The problem is you bought a german car which is prone to expensive failures.

My friends '02 A4 just had to have its engine replaced at 56K miles because some lobe broke of something in the engine causing the oil pressure to hit rock bottom. He takes very good care of the car but this is the 4th time it has had to be flatbedded to a dealership since he bought it.

Audi are just like VW......a nightmare. They are about as reliable as an ice cream cone on 100degree hot july day.

And I plan to purchase an Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T... BMW reliability the same as Audi?

I should mention that my former car was quite reliable right until the warranty ran out. Then it tried to kill me with some freak "throttle position sensor" failure that caused the car to caused the car to get stuck at full throttle even though my foot was no longer on the gas. Things didn't get much better from that point onward.

What we're calling unreliability is probably what Audi engineers probably call "planned obsolescence" :)

Unless the car had electronic throttle control, the TPS cannot cause the throttle to stick wide open.
