LB valid points, all. However, the attitude of generalization bespoke a physical cause, not a psychosematic one, and that I was protesting against. There is no medical evidence for older women, or women who wait long periods before losing their virginity, to have problems orgasming. I may be wrong, and if so I hope I'll get the links to modify my knowledge.

Normally I would take the challenge to heart and find the info. Right now, I'm too busy and I don't care that much. The experience is based on more than one person and according to the statistics I have heard 40% of women never have orgasms (like the old saying goes, if you THINK you had the big O, you didn't). The problem with human sexuality studies is of course that people LIE their asses off when talking about sex and sexual habits (even anonymous studies). In my personal experience the longer women wait the less fullfilling the experience will be when they do have it. Does that mean it will be that way in every case? Of course not. But in my opinion there is a legitimate risk to waiting, something that should be weighed. But if my views contradict with your religious or other values and you can't accept that it could be true feel free to discount them to console yourself in your virginity.

Sharing personal bodily fluids is freaking GROSS unless there is a bond of love and committment. Yeah, the guys won't agree with me but they are not the ones getting jizzed on. They also don't have to worry about birth control as much---they know they won't get pregnant, but even the best birth control can fail and then you are in a very serious situation that you may not be ready to handle.

Get yourself a handy dandy personal massager and concentrate on having ORGASMS! It won't hurt to find out what you like and how you like it on your own so that when you ARE ready to swap secretions, you'll know a thing or two about your body's preferences.

Very very very good advice. You should also be aware there are two forms of female Orgasms, vaginal and clitoral. Vaginal are quite rare (the G spot is a trigger point for a vaginal O), only around 10% of the population are capable.

M'dear, at this point I believe we are entering the area of psychosomatic disorders. Human beings are queer creatures. They fear that which is novel in an effort to maintain those walls they have built up around themselves in order to cope with the world. Their precious ego shaken and shatered by themselves and the world around them, in part due to dualism and objectification, they require those walls and this may indeed prevent an enjoyment of their sexuality.

Much in life and in those scientific journals is a bunch of crap. Although your point is valid, the empirical observation of a particular instance does not imply causation.

What I mean in, it really depends and the real point of this thread was to make us aware that people are fragile, usually need much support from others, and that one should not boast about random events as it tends to put people down, which in most cases just builds up those walls we put around us. Sarah's effort here is to be open and to remain helthy and balanced. For that, I must commend her and disagree with Jean. Some things, when pent up, form themselves into vile creatures that haunt us in our dreams and make living repulsive. But what happens when we give them a hug? That's exactly what we're finding out here.

Heck, the reason most women struggle to have orgasms is because A) they haven't learned about what feels good to them B) their partners don't know either and C) many women never orgasm during penetration alone, they need a whole lot of twiddling going on to come.

Heck, I say get the hang of pleasing yourself first before you even consider sex with another person.

That's a very good point. It would be even better had linuxboy actually made the statement which you attribute to him. The original statement was made by rahvin, and linuxboy's post seems to have simply meant that he felt that rahvin may have been referring to psychosomatic symptoms and not to actual medical symptoms. Nothing more, nothing less. It was not a defense of the statement. (Note the second paragraph.) The third paragraph is unrelated to the statement and is an especially interesting view on the thread.

My point was that killing is part of all instinctual behavior, whether it's breeding rights or domination. It's a simple survival tactic, kill or be killed. Fortunately the thing that separates humans from animals is our ability to control such behavior. He asked for one instance where an animal would kill his own species, and I gave him one. Now as far as sex and reproduction being an instinct, I doubt I'd find a single person in here that would argue that sexual drive is not a natural instinct, and that we, as humans, have the ability to control ourselves from jumping on every woman/man that we see. If that were the case, I assure that there would be a much higher mortality rate in adult humans.
