As a side note, I find it humerous that many young-uns after watching some "new" car commercials on TV have no idea that the song/music they just heard is CLASSIC and not new or just written by whatever advertising department.

I know that, but i'm a music nut too. I used to read a lot, but that was when i was in my early teens and I had no life. Ok ok, so I have no life now, but you know what I meant.

I liked Lord Of The Flies.

I never really knew much about LOTR, just figured it was part of that D&D crap my some weird kids played at school.
After watching the dvd I am thouroghly entranced by the story. I read story summaries from this page look for "fellowship of the ring", "two towers", & "return of the king"

Very good story over all, and will read the full story after all the movies are released, seems like some of those who have read the full book are alittle disappointed about omitted scenes. So I will wait and enjoy the movies.

The fate of the ring seemed a little cheesy w/ smeagol and all but again that came from a "cliffed" version. I may need to read the real thing to get the impact.

The battle scenes coming up look like they are going to kick ass.
Are there any good illustrated books out now?

Its 4 books (including the Hobbit). Excellent reading. I just started the series.

BTW, does Sam or Frodo die at the end?

LOTR=Fantasy about gay wizards, hairy midgets, long ears, fat dwarfs and evil bitches, all fighting each other for a gold ring with lousy poetry written on it. As a bonus, you get to see the Matrix Agent Smith with long hair.

And before you ask, yes, I've seen the movie. Bought the DVD (it wasn't too bad of a purchase, but the above isn't quite enough for me to crap my pants about ala kami :p)

Now that you know what LOTR stands for don't forget these similar acronyms:
LOTD - Starring Michael Flatley
LOTF - Starring Ron Jeremy
AND
LOTO - Starring Bill Gates

:)
I think we all know Peter North is the LOTF ;) Well okay...maybe LOTS (Spray)?
*ahem*

I think LOTD is Lord of the Dance is it not? I think I remember that from Friends (though I have no idea who he is).
And I'm going for Office with Bill Gates.
;)

Palpatine/Yoda would pwn Sauron. :p

I think you should go watch the Prologue of LOTR again, when he's owning dozens of soldiers per hit. :D:D:D:D Admit it, that was pretty fscking badass!
