Here you have to outright STOP, no matter the circumstances. I didnt exactly not see the thing, its not like i came flying out of the junction without looking left or right, i slowed to a crawl, looked right, nothing coming for miles, looked left, everything was kosher, so i drove on. It was because i was at a very slow crawl, and not a complete stop. Its daft, cause in order to get a better view of whats coming a slow crawl is good as you can see whats coming a lot better. Clutch control is what i used there.

What part of STOP do you not understand? Not slow... not crawl... not coast... STOP.

No wonder you haven't passed. You shouldn't be driving. Missing stop signs and signals cannot even be considered "decent driving".

By the way, a "Cliffs" section is for a summary of your post... not a continuation of your rant. Your Cliffs were about as long as your post.

You dont like my cliffs? Dont read emm then, ill make emm as long as i want :)

You have the ability to become a good driver, you just need a bit of work with the rulebook and with your attitude and focus.

The reason why you can't understand the purpose of Cliffs is approximately the same reason why you can't understand how to pass a driver's test. You're too stubborn to be accept the fact you're doing things incorrectly, and you refuse to be taught.

I sincerely hope you pass your exam. I can't wait for you to get your first dozen tickets, which will eclipse those £48 exams.

Just explain to the drivers examiner, that what they call laws, you just consider "suggestions"...that should make all the difference in the world...you'll be out there "collecting policemen's autographs" in no time...;) ( I call it the CHP autograph exchange program...)

After reading the first page, I'm glad they actually failed you over there. You probably would have passed easily in the US.

Have you taken a drivers education course at all? If not, you should probably do so before trying again.

edit: Don't think anyone has mentioned this, but I'm thinking this is a possible shens.

You're not slowing enough at stop signs?

FVCKING A do you suck THAT BAD?. For the driving test, I did a STOP 1, 2, 3. The only time I do that is when a cop is right behind me or nearby or possibly watching me. Otherwise, I do what's known as a California stop ;)

haha during my driving test coasted through a stop sign. No one said anything until i got out and my mother smacked me. Never ran another stop sign though. Though i have found a few that just don't seem to work or are broken and need to be fixed.

YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!

yes when I was taking the drivers license test, I stopped for 2 secs atleast in a stop sign! IT IS YOUR FAULT, NOT THE UK GOVERNMENT!

YOU JUST SUCK!!!!!!!! DON'T DRIVE!

EDIT: on a DL test, you are supposed to drive as proper as you can, NO HARD ACCELERATION, NO HARD BRAKING, BE AROUND THE SPEED LIMIT OF THE ROAD, COME TO COMPLETE STOPS, DRIVE WITH TWO HANDS (for me atleast), LOOK LEFT AND LOOK RIGHT.

BTW I passed the first time, again, YOU SUCK!!!!!!!

Where abouts did you take your test, what part of england? The tests are strict here, and most of the time its just circumstances.

My girlfriend failed the other day because as she was actually driving down the road, roadworkers were in the process of putting a stop sign up, they put it up in the road just as she got to them. The driving instructor said she would have failed whatever she did, whether it was emergency stop or going round it, tough luck...

I failed my test too but I don't know much about cars in the first place. What happened was when I was backing up for the parallel parking, I had the gear in D. I was looking back and the car started moving foward. Since I forgot which pedal was the brake during the moment of panic, I accidentally hit the accelerator and made the situation worse and hit the car in front of me pretty hard. Inspector told me not to drive but I think he was just being a dick.

Yeah Stop means Stop anywhere. What makes you think we are not required by law to completely stop?
