The thread was open for 22 hours. He never made another post... And suddenly he's proud?

just wanna share. Make all the jail jokes as pleased, but it really sucked.

btw: anyway lawyers in the house?

Sounds to me like he's far from proud. In fact, it sounds to me like he thinks it sucks.

This doesn't make any sense at all.

The thread sparked a fairly civil debate about not only DUI, but crime and punishment in general. No one advocated drunk driving, the only debate was over legal limits and punishments.

Edit

Ah, I see the mod edit now and understand.

Were others proud of drinking & driving?

Reading through the thread, a few seemed to be defending the ability to do so. :(

Actually, I didn't see that. I saw people debating what legal limit was reasonable.

There is a difference.

Dain was one that seemed to be defending higher limits.

There seems to be others that agree with his interpretation.

Debating legal limits is not the same as defending drunk driving, nor is it being proud of driving impared.

I don't think it was a good idea to post the thread, whatever the OP's intentions. It's pure flamebait, then people started arguing over legal limits which isn't going to achieve anything.

too many people were trying to justify drink driving in that thread, so it had to go.

there simply in no justification for drink driving....at all.

Read Rogodin2's post where he says he got a DUI and yet still drinks ON THE WAY HOME!
