I dropped something in the toilet! It's not brown.

I had just gotten my tablet yesterday and was in the process of optimizing it. I spent the previous 32 hours sleepless writing matlab code and was anxious to get to bed. Being the excited geek that I am of course I just couldn't call it a night w/o having tweaked my tablet first. Having been plagued by GI problems all night I decided it'd be more efficient to work while on the can...

After an exciting 30 minutes of regedit, msconfig, and explosive diarrhea I called the session to a close. Sadly on my way out, my stylus rolled off the tablet and landed in the toilet like a sibling's toothbrush after a night of heavy drinking. Thankfully I had already flushed. Anyway I had to clean the damn thing, and now it's all acting up. What exactly are those things made out of? The button is constantly on now, right clicks for life.

Tablet PC?

I'm not very familiar with tablet PCs but I assume the stylus is also your "mouse" having buttons and stuff?

And what do you expect after having dropping a deuce and your stylus touching that deuce/deuce water?

Lmao

only the stylus fell in the can? that shouldn't affect anything.

if it is an active stylus (that is, it has an electro-magnet in it.....you can tell by if the tablet recognizes the stylus w/o it actually touching the screen) it actually has quite a bit of electronics inside of it...and sadly you are probably fvcked. They cost upwards of $40 from what I've seen...hopefully itll work when it dries out though. lesson learned I suppose 😛

Thank you good sir. The stylus does move my mouse before I actually touch the screen. I had problems with it right clicking all the time, but that seems to have been solved now. Now I just gotta make sure to never ever put it in my mouth like I would a pen.
