As long as there is no damage to the area where the heatsink comes into contact with the CPU core, it's unlikely that this will cause any problems. You might considering bending the pins back into place though, if you're worried.
I'm sure it couldn't do too much harm as long as the CPU contact area wasn't scratched.
Why don't you try running some Prime95 for a couple hours and see if the temps are any higher(assuming you knew what your temps were @ full load before you dropped the heatsink)
