Well, I just ask because it seems like there are some people deserving of it who don't get it, and a few who are the other way around.

The reason I don't want to be a lifer is because I don't want to be recognized for my postcount. I'd much rather have people recognize me as the perl guy, or the mustang guy, or the annoying fascist who doesn't beleive in the death penalty. Anything but "guy who seems to be online a lot, butdoesn't stand out in any other way". I'd be happy with a postcount that was perpetually zero.

if it makes you feel any better, i don't think of all lifers as "guy who seems to be online a lot". RossMAN always buys things, and Viper GTS is the bald dude, and yakko endlessly nefs, as with ElFenix sometimes
