I don't understand why this neighborhood does not want a Trader Joe's

granted, I'm fortunate to be where I am, but I have at least half a dozen places where I can get real organic produce for far less than what Whole Food charges for their Dole "organic" branded products.

Even so, I'd still much rather get produce from Safeway

Safeway is sooo cheap compared to the other chains. Plus, they stock really good craft beer at the store near me. (I'm sure that is a requirement in NorCal).

Trader Joe's does some things really well for really cheap, but some of their brand stuff doesn't have high QC. I've gotten bad batches of beer, pickles, etc. So. Cheap and good when its good that I still occasionally shop there. The main reason I go there is for the flowers. Can't beat those bouquets for the price.
