I have a 1.3(200mhz)Tbird. If i go into my bios I can change the multiplier and fsb and it will run about 1.3. Am I missing something? I'm not a OC'er so I don't know what the bridges have to do with oc'ing.

That only applies to under 1.2GHz cpus, which come from the factory with the multiplier locked. You cpu came factory unlocked, and that is why you can change it. You don't need to pencil anything.
