When Obi Wan and Anakin were fighting that Dooku guy - Dooku barely scratched Obi with his lightsaber and his pant leg was soaked in blood. Anakin gets his arm cut off and you see some orange gunk spill out but no blood. WTH?!

The lightsaber cauterizes the wound. Obi wan must have reopened the wound as he was running around :)

Really, it dosen't have to be a member of the jedi council. If the cloners didn't know that their contact had died, they probably don't know who's on the council and who isn't. All they'd really have to do is tell the cloners that they were on the council...to confuse whoever found the clones maybe. Eh...all this will probably be revealed in ep 3

perhaps, but it seems that in episode 2 that obi-wan, yoda an mace windu do know sypho-dyas and he was a member of the council as they were talking about him. it seemed like they knew exactly who they were talking about and that obiwan knew this master sypho-dyas had died 10yrs ago and was a leading member of the council back then.

why is it so hard for people to understand
Multiple naming issues confuse Americans. We're conditioned to think a person has but one name. It's hard for us to consider a person might have several names. This seems to be throwing off a lot of people in the context of Star Wars.

You confuse them even more by adding "aliases" and "assumed names" to the equation. :)
