I've definitely not grown up.

Okay, i have in some ways.

But while many of my old friends have gotten married, had kids, have the car & the house, the "normal" life, i sure as hell have not grown up in that way at all.

Sometimes it makes me sad that i am clinging to not wanting to grow up...
Other times i wish everyone else wasn't in such a hurry to "grow up"...

I remember long time back you said you were in computer retail sales? This was in response to my thread about buying a $4000 computer on a small salary.

Have you changed jobs or still doing something similar?

If the Facebook status updates of some of my elementary and high school friends are any indication, I want no part of growing up if that means my life will be zapped of anything remotely interesting in favor of living for work and kids. More power to those who find happiness from those sorts of things, but I can honestly say I'm genuinely satisfied being unattached.

The most growing up I've done is adjusting to being a relatively senior staff member at work who people actually rely on as a source of information to train the newcomers.

I spent Thursday night poking my friend who was passed out drunk on the middle of the floor in a hotel bathroom. I took blackmail pictures of her.

I'm gonna go with no :p

I haven't grown up in the sense that I still enjoy gadgets and toys. Maybe that's just a male thing, though. There are other areas where I still feel child-like, too. I think as far as social interactions I haven't matured as much as my age (28) would suggest. Surprise, right? Someone on ATOT is socially under-developed. :D

I've grown up from high school grad to college undergrad... But once i got out in the real world and started working.. not so much. I'm still feel liek the same old kid.. Of course I dont' feel like i have a real job that requires me to be the most mature person when i'm off from work.

Right now i'm at work and have to be mature.. but when I get back on land... immature as can be. At least I Have a GF that keeps me in line.

As soon as I saw my daughter for the first time, I "grew up". However, when it was just my wife and son, I still felt like a kid. Something about seeing my daughter made me take the leap.

Maybe it was the realization that I would have to buy a shotgun and work on target practice that did it.

read some responses on these forums in various threads and you'll know who hasn't grown up yet. Some people are supposed to be nearing 30 or more.
