Heh, I owned a house before I owned a TV. In my mid 30's I had two friends <Nerd Alert> who were huge Dr. Who fans </Nerd Alert> who wanted to get cable solely to increase their Dr. Who viewings.

I made them get it in one of their bedrooms so as not to despoil the monastic serenity of the living room!
