I prefer any melon over watermelon. Its basically sugar water and really has no taste other than sweet, also its a real messy melon. I dont hate it, but I would not go out of my way to obtain it.

Is there a "typically scared of watermelons?" Sorry, but your mom was obviously molested or beaten in a watermelon patch, or clobbered with a watermelon, while still young, untouched and sexy. After that, they did bad things to her.

That's the ONLY plausible explanation for being scared of a freaking fruit!

Scared of clowns, people in costumes, dogs, heights, spiders, I can understand. They move, can kill you and are just evil. But watermelons? WTF?

You should see the video of this girl that is terrified of pickles. They take her to (I think) a pickle manufacturer and she is just fuckin freaked out.
