I was also pissed about Fox cancelling Futurama, they put it on a horrible timeslot (sundays at 7est) and didnt even run it as scheduled half the time. The Petition to save it had over 140,000 signatures, they then sold the rights to Cartoon Network officially signing the death certificate. The 5th season will play out on fox and not be renewed. And the really sad part is, Matt Groening (the creator of the simpsons who also writes for Futurama) expressed that hed rather do Futurama than the simpsons.

Even more, Futurama on cartoon network is keeping up in Nielson ratings to the Simpsons.....
