I dont care for hardforums

personally, I think they have a bunch of jackasses running the hard forums. they censor out tomshardware.com? and everglide? the members dont care if kyle has had problems with either entity, is he just trying to send a message? because we dont give a shlt. what do they hope to accomplish with this?
 
I do care for them. (Insert opinion based statement). They have a very distinctive personality and I like that. Sometimes this place can be a little too vanilla if you will.
 
They censor out THG because Tom (1) claimed to have discovered the fault in the 1.13GHz P3 all by himself when in fact Kyle and Tom worked together on it and (2) because on 9/11 Tom made some very negative and uncalled-for comments about how HardOCP published information about the attacks on their front page instead of sticking to solely hardware news.
They censor out Everglide because E-glide sued Kyle over the Ratzpad. It was an ugly, messy lawsuit and even though Kyle eventually won because he could prove his patent was older, it still cost him thousands in legal fees.

Forums like AT here and the H are privately-owned. You don't like what they offer, don't use them. I don't care for the H forums anymore either, but it has nothing to do with those 2 issues.
 
I think they have a reason for banning the word "Everglide" because they got sued many dollars probably for a negative comment. Maybe they got some court mandate about it or just don't want to get close to getting into the same trouble which I think is reasonable. I don't see where they forbid the word "tomshardware.com" from being used though.

I like the users, I dont like the administrators.

so the purpose for the hardforums is not to give us a place to discuss PC issues and such, it is just a way for kyle to express his resentment? the users of hard forums do not care about this stuff, and banning links to tomshardware does absolutely nothing but add inconvenience for the users. I ask this: are the forums there for our enjoyment, or kyle's?
